What if this is the reminder we all need?
A client recently told me something that made me pause:
“I found myself smiling… for the first time in years. It's so foreign... but I love this feeling"
Now, life isn’t perfect for her.
But her anger has softened.
Her pressure to “catch up” has eased.
She’s resting more.
And she’s noticing herself again.
That moment stayed with me.
Because it reminded me what we’re all really working toward—not just for our clients, but for ourselves too.
So here’s my gentle nudge for you today:
What if this is the reminder we all need?
To pause.
To notice what we’re filling our minds and bodies with.
To reimagine what a full, rich, successful life really means.
Not just in our work. But in the quiet spaces in between.
What I’ve been learning—over and over again—is that I define success less by external markers, and more by:
→ Feeling present in my own life
→ Having energy left at the end of the day
→ Knowing my work makes a difference and doesn’t consume me
→ Laughing more often
→ Letting things take time
→ Trusting the long arc, not rushing the outcome
Maybe you’re redefining too. So I’ll ask you this:
✨ What does fullness look like for you right now?
✨ What’s your personal picture of success—clinically, creatively, relationally?
✨ What small shift would bring you closer to that today?
Because we all need reminders.
And permission.
And space to name the shape our life wants to take next.
Here’s my list—I hope it stirs something in you too:
Calm nights with no urgency
Fun plans for rest days and real time off
Belly giggles at bedtime
Moments of peaceful silence
Saving for long-term investments
A warm home. A steady nervous system.
Friendships where you're both givers
A community who know quirks—and come closer
A regulated life,
Work that feels good in your bones
This is what we offer our clients.
Let’s offer it to ourselves, too.
With warmth,
Esther
P.S. For those of you who’ve been sensing a pivot or feeling an inner pull—you’re not alone.
So, for a short time, I’m opening up a limited number of 50-minute 1:1 consulting sessions. As I close out my calendar to shift into deeper creative work, I wanted to make time to respond to those who've been asking for this.
Bring what you need into the room:
→ A program or business idea that won’t leave you alone
→ Support around a hard clinical question or stuck point in therapy
→ A desire to pivot without losing your roots
→ A longing to feel clearer, steadier, more yourself again
You’ll receive a recording of the session to return to whenever you want.
I won’t be offering these again until next August—and from that point, only to those in my programs and trainings.
If this is the right time for you, let’s do it.
