The Next Chapter: Who Do You Need to Become?
I've been thinking about something lately.
When I look back over the last decade, the biggest shifts in my life never started with strategy.
They started when my capacity expanded.
Years later the invitations came, the book came, the speaking came, the business grew, the impact grew, the income grew.
But none of those were the breakthrough. They were the ripple.
The breakthrough happened much earlier, when I became someone who could hold a bigger life.
I think we spend so much of our lives asking questions like how do I become more visible, how do I grow my practice, how do I make a bigger impact, how do I increase my income.
They're understandable questions, but lately I've been wondering if they're the wrong ones.
Maybe the better question is, who do I need to become so that visibility no longer feels unsafe, leading no longer feels overwhelming, and receiving opportunities no longer feels uncomfortable?
Because something fascinating happens when that changes.
People begin finding you. Your work deepens. Clients experience you differently.
You stop second guessing every decision.
You trust yourself more.
Your voice becomes clearer.
You stop shrinking in rooms you were always meant to lead.
And over time, the referrals come, the invitations come, the opportunities come, and often the income grows too.
Not because you finally discovered the perfect strategy, but because you expanded.
I've seen this happen in therapists over and over again.
The workshop they've been talking about for years finally gets taught.
The book they've carried inside them finally gets written.
The fee increase they've been avoiding finally happens without apology.
The consultation group they've dreamed about finally opens.
Not because someone gave them permission, but because they stopped waiting for it.
That's why I created The Next Chapter.
Our upcoming Somatic Intensive in New York Oct 13-15th.
Yes, we'll spend three days immersed in somatic embodiment, experiential learning, movement vocabulary, coaching, reflection, and community, all intentionally designed to help you uncover the thread that's organizing your life and begin expanding beyond it.
But if I'm honest, I'm not most excited about what you'll learn.
I'm excited about who you'll be when you leave.
Because I've learned something I can't unlearn:
a business rarely grows beyond the capacity of the person leading it.
Neither does our leadership. Neither does our impact.
Neither does the depth of our work.
Eventually our life begins reflecting what our nervous system can hold.
Maybe that's why you're reading this.
Maybe something inside you already knows the next thing that needs to grow isn't your business, isn't your visibility, isn't your income. It's you.
And if that's true, I'd be honored to walk beside you as you step into your next chapter. If you're ready, just reply
Warmly,
Esther
