The Trauma
Mastery Program
Six months of advanced consultation and leadership training
for experienced clinicians who want to deepen their practice,
create long-lasting relief for their clients,
and reconnect with the fulfillment, passion,
and aliveness that brought them to this work in the first place.
You’ve built the career, the practice, and the reputation most are still working toward.
You’re the kind of therapist who doesn’t just show up the money, you’re a leader with a mission in this world and you want to see the impact of your work ripple through the lives of your clients, your community, and your family.
You know that the depths you’re able to bring yourself and your clients to is directly correlated with the depth of impact you’re able to create.
But right now, you can feel that there are places in your client sessions and your own personal leadership where you’re not reaching the depths of the transformation that’s really possible.
You leave a session with a client who’s been talking about anxiety for 6 months but something in you knows that anxiety is not the thing.
You facilitate an EMDR session and suddenly, a protector part arises, and the protocol you know so well isn’t enough.
You love your work so much but also…
You find yourself snapping at your kid while only half listening because you’re drained from carrying the energy of the client you saw 6 hours ago.
You keep telling yourself you’re going to refer out that one client who’s not the right fit… but every time the opportunity arises, your throat closes up and you end up resenting yourself later.
You hold your clients masterfully all day long, but when it comes time to honor the self-care time you said you’d take? You end up switching tabs and checking emails, just one last check before bed.
And you wonder if you need to sign up for another training, or download another podcast.
And here’s the truth:
No, you don’t need another certification or training.
Please, you’ve done them all already.
Here’s what’s really happening:
The reason that the work isn’t lighting you up isn’t burnout. It’s because your practice grew faster than your identity did, and there’s places in your leadership where you’re still operating from the wounded healer, the over giver, and patterns that are ready to be let go of.
The reason some clients are hitting ceilings and not getting the depth of change you know is possible is because your treatment plan isn’t treating the thing under the thing. They tell you it’s anxiety, so you treat anxiety. But underneath…but you can feel that there's something underneath that's the real root.
The reason that you keep taking more trainings without seeing the change you want is because trainings give you information but experiential practice creates embodiment and mastery. Which is why we don't just talk about the models inside Trauma Mastery Program, we practice and experience them.
This is exactly what we work on inside….
Trauma Mastery.
We close those three gaps.
Clinical Identity + Embodiment
You already know that you cannot take a client somewhere you haven't travelled yourself. It's why you're so committed to this work. But somewhere along the journey of holding space for clients, carrying the responsibilities of a full life, and building your legacy practice...
Your own work took the back seat.
You have your own therapist, sure. But there are still places in your leadership where the wounded healer, leaky boundaries, overgiving, and the part of you that still believes you have to carry it all are taking up energy that could be going toward your purpose, your people, and the life you're here to live.
Through experiential processes, identity and leadership development, and mentorship that helps you access your personal power, you’ll begin to embody a different way of leading, working, and living.
When you clear these patterns and reconnect to the heart and purpose beneath this work? That's when you'll feel so alive, intuitive, and present in your sessions and at the dinner table that your clients and family will feel light as a feather.
Clinical Outcomes + Treatment Planning
It's one thing to treat what your client tells you is the problem.
It's another to be able to save weeks and months of both your time because you're able to precisely and masterfully perceive what they actually need beneath the words they use.
I will teach you how to identify the treatment target, recognize the movement they're stuck in, and help your client understand how to use the therapy so you're both working toward the same thing.
When you can get straight to the root of what a client actually needs without spending months on the story or working around the problem?
Your treatment becomes more precise. Your client feels deeply understood. And the work begins to translate into the changes they've been coming to therapy to make.
Advanced Trauma Skills + Application
Every month, we come together to deep dive on your trickiest sessions and most difficult clients.
You've taken advanced trainings, EMDR, somatic therapy, IFS, or something else entirely. You know the protocols like the back of your hand.
But every once in a while, you meet a client whose protective parts, trauma history, or nervous system don't fit neatly into what you were taught.
You know what you know, but you're not quite sure how to use it with the client sitting in front of you.
When you have a community of other experienced trauma practitioners and a mentor to workshop these sessions with you, your ability to see deepens, your clients move through those hiccups faster, and the breakthroughs are stronger.
MASTER WHO YOU ARE.
MASTER WHAT YOU'RE TREATING.
MASTER WHAT TO DO WITH WHAT YOU FIND
Community
That's Trauma Mastery.
And when those three things come together, something shifts.
You lead differently.

That's Trauma Mastery.
And when those three things come together, something shifts.
You lead differently.
Your clients feel it. The boundary gets set. The relationship changes. What happens in the therapy room starts becoming how they actually live. They stay for the full course of treatment. Not just that, they rant and rave about your work and send their friends and family to you because they want them to experience the healing they did.
Colleagues trust you with their hardest cases. Your name gets passed into rooms you're not even in.
And something changes in you, too.
There's a confidence and aliveness behind you. You trust your ideas enough to create them. Your voice becomes clearer. Your work becomes unmistakably yours.
The right clients come. Opportunities you once would have chased start finding their way to you. Your reach grows. Your income grows. The bigger room starts feeling like somewhere you belong.
Not because you're trying harder to become someone. Because your work, your leadership, and the person you've become are finally moving in the same direction.
And maybe most importantly. you are fully inside the life you've built.
Giggling with your husband in the kitchen while you make your favorite chicken pot pie. Your kid is telling you one of those stories that somehow has seventeen plot twists, and you're still right there asking, “Wait… and then what happened?” Taking the four-day weekend. Walking through Europe with your family.
Doing work that changes lives. And deeply living the life you've built alongside it.
Not because you became a different clinician.
Because the depth that was already there finally has somewhere to go.

Want to know the best part of this trauma mastery program?
That we are a group of humans living a human experience.
We're here for the learning, the skills, the consultation and camaraderie. And, we’re also here for you through pre-presentation anxiety, your personal grief work, adoption, love, relationships, moving … and everything in between.
We’re here to lift each other up.
Hi, I’m Esther,
a trauma therapist, therapist consultant, and the founder and director of the Trauma Therapy Center servicing 600+ clients to date.
I’m an EMDR therapist + consultant, Sensorimotor therapist [I, II & III], and IFS trained [ I & II] trained. I’ve also been trained in Intensive DBT, Sandtray, and Somatic intervention I, II & III.
As a new therapist, I was stumped.
This work was personal to me long before it became my career. Addiction touched my family. And then, as a new therapist working with addiction, I started noticing something I couldn’t make sense of.
Two people could want sobriety with everything they had. One would get sober, find stability, and begin rebuilding their life. The other—equally motivated, equally desperate for something to change, would find themselves right back inside the same pattern.
I was stumped. What made the difference? Why could someone consciously want something with every part of them—and still repeat the pattern they desperately wanted to change?
I needed to understand. So I went looking. I trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, IFS, DBT, Sandtray and somatic interventions. I sought out consultation with incredible trauma therapists. And when the trainings ended and I still had questions, I hired the people who wrote the books.
I traveled to learn. I wanted to understand the brain. I wanted to understand trauma. I wanted to understand the pain underneath the symptom.
And slowly, I began to.
But once I had all the trainings and accreditations, I had to learn something they don't really teach in trainings:
HOW TO BE THE THERAPIST
Because knowing a model and knowing how to facilitate deep healing are two different things.
I had to learn how to weave everything together. How to sit across from a human being and see what was underneath what they were telling me. How to know when anxiety wasn't actually the thing. How to recognize the pattern. How to know what we were treating. How to trust myself when the protocol wasn't enough.
I had to grow into the therapist who could actually use everything I knew.
And as I did, the work changed. The clients changed. My practice booked up. People were looking for the deeper level of trauma healing we were providing.
I built the kind of healing center I had dreamed about, a nine-clinician practice with EMDR therapists, dance/movement therapists, somatic work, and different approaches coming together around the whole person. We took complicated cases. Clients other therapists had turned away. People who were still searching for somewhere they could really do their healing.
And I loved it. I was living so much of what I had dreamed about when I entered this field. I started sharing more of what I was learning. My writing. My heart. My ideas. I created groups and trainings. I consulted other therapists. My blog grew to around 88,000 views a month.
I was invited to speak and bring the work into corporations, wellness spaces, schools and communities. New Harbinger reached out and asked me to write EMDR for Anxiety. People whose work I deeply admired went on to endorse it.
The work started traveling beyond my therapy room.
And the more lit up I became by what I was doing, the more opportunities seemed to land at my doorstep. The practice was full. The impact was growing. I was doing work I loved. And I was getting ready to franchise.
On paper, the next step was obvious: Go bigger.
Except something in me wasn't coming with it.
Because I still wanted the mission. Deeply. I wanted to change lives. Train therapists. Bring deeper trauma healing into more rooms and reach more people. I just wasn't sure I wanted the same shape for it anymore.
And that's a strange place to find yourself: What do you do when the mission still fits, but the shape you've built around it no longer fits the life you're becoming?
I started noticing my energy leaks. The limits of my leadership capacity. The places where I was carrying too much. The places where I was still operating from an older version of myself.
I had reached another edge of growth.
The first time, I had the training and had to grow into the therapist.
This time, I had built the practice, and I needed to expand my capacity to lead.
My first instinct was more training. I was about to invest another $15,000 when I realized:
THIS WASN'T A PROBLEM ANOTHER TRAINING WAS GOING TO SOLVE.
I needed high-touch mentorship. Advanced consultation. People who could help me see what I couldn't see myself.
So I invested deeply in those spaces. And I started asking different questions.
Who do I want to be? How do I want to lead? What kind of mother do I want to be? What kind of life do I actually want? What kind of impact do I want to make? What kind of legacy do I want to leave?
And I realized:
I DIDN'T WANT TO GO BIGGER.
I WANTED TO GO DEEPER.
So I scratched the plan to franchise. Not the mission. Just the shape I thought the mission had to take.
I stopped asking, How much bigger can I make this? And started asking:
What is actually aligned for me? And I let that answer shape what came next.
What fascinated me was that my life, and my work, got bigger anyway.
My income grew. My impact grew. Opportunities that felt deeply aligned with who I was becoming continued to land at my doorstep.
And there was more room for my actual life. More time and presence with my son. Long meals with friends and family. More freedom to pack our bags and spend time in Europe. More space to write, teach, create, and follow the ideas that lit me up.
I was still building the mission. I was just building it in a shape that fit who I was becoming, and the life I wanted to be living.
And somehow, that created an even bigger ripple. I HAD MORE LIFE, NOT JUST MORE BUSINESS.
And I think that's what alignment actually is.
Building the kind of success that gives you more of what actually matters to you.
More presence. More purpose. More impact. More income. More freedom. And a legacy that actually feels like yours.
And maybe you're standing at your own version of this edge.
You've done the trainings. You're already doing meaningful work. Your clients trust you. Maybe your practice is full. Maybe you're supervising other clinicians. Maybe you've already become the person other therapists come to.
But you can feel there's more of you here.
More depth in your clinical work. More capacity in your leadership. More of your voice, creativity, and expression ready to come forward. And a beautiful life alongside all of it.
Because your heart is in this work. It's not just a career to you.
You're here to create ripple effects of healing, for your clients, the clinicians you lead, your family, your community, and the legacy you're still here to create.
You need the right room for who you're becoming next. A room where experienced therapists can bring the cases that still make them think. Where your leadership gets stretched. Where you're surrounded by peers operating at your level. Where high-touch mentorship helps you see the places that are almost impossible to see alone.
That's the room I built inside Trauma Mastery.

“ I gained so much from every session.”
Esther has a ton to offer and offers it super naturally. The information was clear, and the instruction was excellent, but one of the most valuable parts of this course was the live sessions with a group of therapists where we could get present with the process of learning and growth. I gained so much from every session.
The incorporation of information, suggested interventions, and other skills that came up organically through the conversations in the consultation groups has proven to be super-helpful.

It’s been a pleasure for me to participate in Esther’s Trauma Program. I’m learning a great deal, and it’s been fascinating to hear about the struggles and journeys of other therapists and psychologists. I also gain so much knowledge from Esther.
I really admire the way Esther delivers her message and shares her expertise.
My favourite part of the training:
The live supervision has deepened my trauma understanding — both through colleagues’ perspectives and especially through Esther’s insights. She’s helped me learn to work with avoidance and dissociation while preventing client overwhelm and managing the complexities of transference. For me, it’s been truly transformative.

“Taking the trauma course was helpful for my daily practice & working with high-school students. Many of my clients have had and continue to suffer from trauma. This course allowed me the opportunity to learn more in depth causes for the outward behaviors.
Esther was great at taking the time to create space to discuss specific caseloads and offered thoughtful ways to approach clients when they appear to be “stuck.” She created a welcoming platform for us to engage with other clinicians and allowed for conversation, input, and questions from each of the participants.
The information is vast and extensive and will take some time to get through however, it is essential to learn and understand its content in order to be a therapist offering trauma support.

“I have known Esther for several years and have always been deeply grateful for her understanding of and expertise in working with trauma. When she announced the launch of this course I eagerly reached out to her to get more information and to sign up all my clinicians. We were all quite impressed with the knowledge and practical application this course holds.
It is not only essential for therapists to be trauma informed in this current environment, they must also have a variety of practical tools ready to help the wounded souls in our care journey toward healing. This course is a must for any therapist who wants to deepen knowledge of trauma. Even those of us who are seasoned trauma specialists can still benefit from the reminders this course has to offer. And for the newer clinician - I would say this is utterly essential for competent practice. I cannot recommend this course highly enough.”
